beaUty and the beAst..stiLL raNting abouT it...
i really am very busy this weekend...i haven't even finished all the things i planned to do...at 5 am na ako natulog...
well, na-compensate naman lahat ng beauty and the beast...yup! just watched it kanina sa meralco theater...was with my sister...i didn't know it was the fourth highest grossing musical of all time (passing miss saigon) until i have read the program...
it was quite like the movie rin...pero syempre, nothing beats a live performance...medyo biased nga lang ako, but hey...i so love theater...sayang nga lang and i don't know how to act...therefore, hanggang audience man lang diba...it was mostly musical...great voices...plus great choreography...i couldn't really explain it...syempre, inabangan ko yung scene sa movie where the kitchen utensils were dancing and singing...meron din noh...it was one of the best scenes in the play...
anyway, we watched kc and not karel...ok lang naman if si karel pero i prefer kc kasi si karel, nandyan lang naman...minsan lang mapanood si kc eh...
ang saya rin coz we were seated 8 rows from the stage, orchestra left...ang lapit...sa sobrang lapit eh nakikita ko na nga yung lapel nung mga performers...pero syempre, since orchestra yon, marami na namang elite people...yung nasa likod nga namin ni cathe eh panay ang kaka-english...may mga showbiz personalities din...i even saw gretchen barretto (dati kasi, and sometimes even up to now, sinasabi nilang kamukha ko siya)...well, naghatid lang naman siya ng mga bata doon sa area...i dunno if she watched the full performance...pero, in fairness, ganda ng body niya ha...pero medyo chaka yung suot niya...oh well, off lang yung bag...sobrang metallic gold kasi...
oh well...3 hours din yung show...sulit yung binayad ko (haay...ang ipon)...sobrang ginaw rin...ganda ng interiors ng meralco theater...at ang laki nung fish sa fishpond ha...ano ba tong pinagsasasabi ko...sige na nga...madaling araw na pala...may class pa bukas...haay...have to study pa...waaah!!!
ang aga namin sa theater kanina...eh since walang magawa, napagdiskitahan na naman namin ni cathe yung digicam niya...hehe! =P
