at least...
think negative...eh kasi...ang tagal umalis...blah! blah! blah!
think positive...
at least we tried to go there.
yup! we tried to catch the last day of the world pyro olympics. we weren't even sure we'd go to see it since papa wasn't here. good thing that kuya mark (a neighbor) was game for it. so there...as agreed, we'd leave the house at 5:30pm.
it didn't proceed as planned...due to several circumstances.
we left late despite everyone's warning of heavy traffic.
we decided to use the makati route...thinking that the EDSA route was worse.
but then again, we faced really very heavy traffic. as if luck would have it, there was even a fire somewhere in "never before heard" bautista street.
we were already joking...we'd see not only fireworks but waterworks as well. then smokeworks perhaps.
gah! good thing that there was TV in the van. i'd really be bored to death.
it was already 10pm when we decided not to proceed to pasay. we gave up!
after all, we still haven't eaten a decent dinner.
at least we saw some fireworks from afar.
therefore, so as not to spoil the trip, we went to tiendesitas.
there were still lots of people around especially with a live band playing so we settled for a cozy kubo afar from all the noise...ate some not really good food (it was kinda late na rin kasi and we don't have lights in the kubo)...took lots of spoon and fork home (we took twice than necessary)...strolled a bit...
gee! there were lots of dogs around...with their owners of course. but there were decent pet shops around too. buti pa yung cat...may four poster bed.
we kinda like antiques so we took pictures while there were few people around. take note: few people. gelo (the kid) was somewhat afraid of the statues. hehe! ;p
i, on the other hand, like imitating them. *have you seen my pic at crystal cove in bora?* i can't stop myself from laughing.
then, before we went home, we saw more fireworks from afar. probably, that was the one in greenhills naman.
so there...
at least we tried to watch the world pyro olympics.
i'm going to wait for the next one...now that i've learned my lesson.
