hidden selves
Blogger has been down last weekend...at least for me.Grabe! Still have 3 papers and 4 exams to go. This sem seem to last too long. It's going to end really late for me...if I'm not mistaken, March 30th pa.
I just visited Krissy's blog and she was sharing how there was a snake inside their house. Uso ata talaga yan. We had the same "snake" frenzy about a couple of weeks ago. Twice pa. First one was when Mama was at the kitchen and a snake suddenly fell from the top of the kitchen cupboards. The second one was when she saw something slither from the hole in the ceiling. Well, both were small snakes but it made me and sis kinda scared. I blame it on the rats at home. We have lots of them. As I'm writing this post, a small rat just ran and distracted me. They love playing in front of us. Sheesh! Hindi takot.
I'd just like to share that there's an exhibit at the PHAn lobby about "hidden selves". Anyway, being a senior, I was asked to be part of that exhibit wherein you share something about yourself that other people probably don't know about you. Mine was kinda corny (me visiting EK for the first time last year)...had to think quick eh. Besides, there's something that's keeping me from sharing things to the public...but no qualms in sharing through my blog. Hehe! :D
- Pinapapak ko ang brown sugar if I need some sugar boost. Hindi naman aabot sa 1 cup.
- I am a frustrated dancer...pero kinarir ko ang aking mga dancing classes (PE).
- I appeared in TV once for a Christmas special. ;p
- I used to hate vegetables. Not very much now.
- I easily cry when watching movies or TV shows (lalo na yung Maalala Mo Kaya)...sisihin si Ate Charo.
- I sometimes grind my teeth when I sleep.
- Fave tambayan ko ang CR.
- I have a nude photo...at hindi baby pic yon. ;p
- I go around the house in my undies...at naiinis ako why it's okay for guys not to wear tops. Tsk!
- I'm a very selfish person.
- I usually start taboo conversations at home. With taboo, I mean "sex" and everything else that goes along with it.
- I read the newspaper every Sunday...especially the Lifestyle/Fashion section.
- I have MANY crushes...hindi nga lang ako expressive sa kakiligan.
- I took voice, guitar, and piano lessons before.
- I was taking glutathione (whitening pills) until supplies ran out.
- I already experienced kneeling in salt while holding two books each in my hands...all because I didn't want to go to the dentist and have a tooth taken out. My parents eventually gave up and that tooth naturally fell out...thanks to a turon.
- I really liked this Skechers platform sandals that I saved for it and even paid in coins. However, I quit wearing it after I tripped on it twice in Cebu in front of my parents' acquaintances.
- I have many dogs, but I'm afraid of dogs.
- At a very young age, I've finished reading a kiddie science encyclopedia.
- During my 4th year in high school, it baffled me why some people didn't know what "echolocation" was.
- I never liked wearing pants. The first time I consciously bought one for myself was for a love concert. I think I was in 4th grade.
- I got hit by a car once.
- I hate seeing animals being slaughtered. I can't even bear the thought of seeing ants die...thus, I save them in my own li'l way.
- I still keep a diary...and yeah...I always start an entry by writing "Dear Diary". =p
- I can cook.
- I love videokes.
- I can turn out my eyelids before. I'm trying it right now...I seem to have lost the ability. Hehe! :D
- I'm quite hairy. =p
- I never learned how to bike and play jump rope (wherein you have to enter an already "turning" rope...whatever you call that game). But I'm great with jackstones. ;p
- I once cried over a Barbie doll.
- I'm very strict with table etiquette...to a point that I don't like seeing anything fell even if it's on a placemat.
- I can eat shrimp without using my bare hands to remove its covering.
- I've tried eating the insides of salwaki (some kind of sea urchin ata). I didn't like it. Smells very fishy.
- I collect crisp bills.
- I list my expenses everyday...down to very last centavo.
- I used to fit and sleep inside an old TV cabinet before.
- Sometime during my first year in college, I had a 24 inch waistline. Matakaw ako eversince ha.
- One of my prized book collections is my Nancy Drew hardbound book collection. I used to buy more than 10 books in one bookstore visit and finish reading a book in a day.
- I only discovered Love Stories in college. *Book series yon ha.*
- I'm OC when it comes to ensuring that the gas tank, the doors, and the faucet are closed or turned off.
- I like collecting colorful undies and bra.
- I like collecting small sentimental (and even nonsentimental) things much to my parents' dismay. There's too much garbage lying around.
- Alam niyo yung ginagawa ng albularyo na may baso tapos parang sinisipsip daw yung hangin sa katawan niyo. Basta...nasubukan ko na yon. =p
- I can make clocklike noises without opening my mouth.
- I used to have hand-me-downs from my aunt...so you could pretty much guess what kind of fashion sense I had before.
Enough nga muna...have to eat. :D
