I've slept all day for one good reason...
I just came back from a tulian medical mission. Yebah! :) *Imagine a big, big grin here.* Sorry...long time dream eh. Just wanted to feel like a "surgeon" for a change. =p Buti na lang at nasa Manila pa ako.
The experience was truly memorable. 24 people in attendance. 3 vehicles total. Semi-outing for us Red Cross members and volunteers. Went to Laiya, Nasugbu, and Lipa in Batangas. Tin...ang galing. ;) By the way, the med mission was a project of Vice Gov. Marc Leviste.
Syempre, kwento ko na...
First day. Meeting place in UERM. Left at around 7am...grand entrance ni Roselle yan. Hehe. :)
Red plate + "wangwang" = unofficial drag racing day. Grabe. =p
Reached Laiya at around 11am. Instant tuli. Groupmates ko sina Glenn at Quincy. Glenn was the leader...galing...siya si "vessel master". Si Quincy ang "lidocaine girl". Ako..."suture queen". ;) Had lunch at 2pm na. Lunch was prepared by the barangay captain. Hehehe.
Finished late na. Medyo madilim na rin eh. Tipong kita na fireworks. A merienda at the Kabayan Resort turned into an early dinner na lang. Then, a long ride again to Hotel La Corona De Lipa ("the mother of all Victoria Courts..." as quoted from Sir Bong's mouth) for another dinner *na hindi ko na kayang ubusin*. After getting settled into our room (my roomies were Tita, Roselle, and Tin), some of us went to the KTV room for red wine and singing. Some went swimming pa after at the swimming pool. Tita and I were the only ones (I guess) that stayed in our room to watch MTV China. Haha. Tin joined us later on that evening. Just learned new dance steps. :P
I unusually woke up early the next day...4am to be exact. Early breakfast at 5:15 kaya ganon. Then another long trip to Nasugbu for more tulian sessions. Swerte kami that day for lunch kasi sugpo, calamares, tinolang manok, and adobong manok inabutan namin. As in...para kaming dumaan sa dagat na walang tubig dahil sa daan pero it was worth it. =p Swerte lang talaga kami that day. =p
Finished early that day. Side trip sa Canyon Cove sa Nasugbu for swimming sana. Walang rooms that day so hindi naman kami makapag-freshen up. We decided to skip swimming na lang and settled for more camwhoring. Ang ganda ng place. Sayang.
Then, off we went to Matabungkay Beach Resort in Lian. Had 3 villas for ourselves. Dinner was served at 7pm. There was pumpkin soup, the main course (chicken with veggies...cucumbers for me ;p) and mango sago for dessert. Then went swimming after until the pool closed at around 11pm. The others had an inuman session by the beach...and as usual, I skipped that part. =p Went back to the villa for snacks and to sleep...sa boy's villa kami natulog ni Tita at Ice. Dun kami sa baba malapit sa CR...dahil yun nga...gusto naming maunang maligo at kulang nga CR.
Breakfast at 5:30am. Kami nina Tita, Tin, Ice, Roselle, Cla, at Monty ang mga nauna. That meant early camwhoring for us. Then, back to Lipa for more tulian...this time, airconditioned na ang place...sa health center nila. Lunch tasted like glorified Betadine. More camwhoring then merienda at a lomi house in Lipa with the Vice Gov. Then, uwian na. First and last gastos ko sa trip...buko pie sa Colette's. Grabe. Arrived at UERM at around 8:30 pm na.
All in all, it was one good trip. Memorable, fulfilling, and fun. :)

more thoughts...
Summer's awfully hot. Had a headache yesterday.Finished the Gossip Girl series...up until the latest episode. Love it!!!
Started cleaning up on old stuff to prepare for Aunty Edna's arrival this 26th. Hope the dust doesn't trigger my allergies. The last thing I'll need is a bad case of cough and colds.
Reread some old school papers I did way back in high school. Noted how childish I write back then. I kept the papers...for amusement. =p
Aunty Lyn had a stroke by the way. She's ok. CT scan turned out to be normal. I beg to disagree. Run more tests.
I realized how kuripot I really am now. Insisted that whoever doesn't show up at the reunion shouldn't get a Tshirt. That could save Aunty Edna some money.
Still couldn't understand why my sister wanted to join that honor society in UP. Such a waste of money. *Am I really the only one who can feel the financial tension here?!* But I do understand the other qualms on my sister's life right now. I join the protest. If only I can REALLY do something. Phase two on the way.
Checked the airline fare today for Bangkok. Fare's doubled. Oh God!
I'm excited about Aga and Ann's movie. Haha. Ask Cathe how I woke up early just for the trailer. =p
Hoping that I can get to join the "tuli" mission this weekend. It's JC's baptism on the Sunday pa naman. Here's to more hoping that I can teleport.
Getting too alert every time I stay up late is driving me nuts already. Another neighbor got their cellphone (with charger) stolen two nights ago. And we were still awake at around that time. We always are awake whenever something gets stolen. This time, we won't ignore the dogs na...especially trusty Jamjam. If only we can get the neighbors to follow our very unhealthy pattern of staying up late...that can mean less robberies. Hehe. =p
Finally getting my money next week. Summer outfit shopping na!!! :)
