finally.
Another day of relief.Just finished my Physio lab exam today. It wasn't perfect, but it still felt good finally doing it. No more Physio lab worries.
Actually, it was everyone's lucky day today. We all got to luckily pick out the experiments we really wanted to do. I only did urinalysis...good thing. :)
Have to get rid of my eyebags. Horrid! =p

I just hope I can go to Kim's birthday celeb at Tagaytay. Unfortunately, I can't do anything to move our 6th exams. Schoolday kasi eh. Haay! And I was looking forward to Sonya's pa naman. Next time na nga lang.
I feel so highschoolish. Back in college, summer vacation na siguro yung March 21. Tsk! Bora na lang. =p

weekend frenzy
Had a quite busy weekend.Got the results of my exams last week. Grades are okay, but I'm not satisfied. You can never get satisfied in med school.
Went to the UP Fair as planned. It was Rakestra night. Was with my sis, Ice, and Kim at first. Went clothes shopping...and ended up joining the Kabataan partylist instead...oh well. Had shawarma rice for dinner (yet again). Then, we were joined by some of Cathe's blockmates. Kim & Ice left later on when my friends from med school came naman...Hanni, Roselle w/ Otep, and Tina w/ David (Joey w/ bf - sorry...can't remember his name...I know it's familiar...er... - joined us later on). Syempre, joined them while Cathe & her friends tried to score backstage passes (she did...but didn't use it eventually).
Eion...hung out most of the night. Finally got to taste Dulcinea's churros. Those were exactly the kind of churros I knew as a kid. The ones at Taco Bell kasi is quite rich in flavor. Nakakasuya minsan. Also tasted the mushroom burger (hails from Tagaytay as the tarp said). Ang tagal ko nang naghahanap non. Unfortunately, I had to throw away the pickle and tomato...kasi naman, forgot to inform the one preparing the burger to scrap those. Yung cucumber lang kinain ko.
We were really afraid of the J.J. people (as Cathe calls them) who were creating a mosh pit earlier that evening. Cathe even went to join me and my friends because she was scared of them. We stayed near the Pony booth (after Roselle and David scored free tattoos) because there were available seats there. Went to try the perya there...wala...nalugi lang kami. Then, I finally bought my Pakshirt na. Hehe! :) Missed having our pics taken with Kristoff and Oona of PDA. Si Cathe kasi eh. ;p
We enjoyed watching all the 8 songs of Kamikazee and Parokya. Ang saya coz the bands played together tapos may orchestra pa. Nice! Ang kukulit pa nilang magperform.
A short while after they performed, we decided to go home na just as Rocksteddy played. Learned that Moonstar and Itchyworms played after. Darn! Late na rin kasi. It was already 3am. Tapos, it was so cold pa. Grabe! Even Tina who was wearing a jacket was feeling too cold already.
Sunday night, we went to the Tropezz bar/resto opening at G3 c/o Kim's Tito who owned the place. Went there with Kim and Cathe. Red and gold theme for that night...thanks to the Chinese New Year celebration. Great food I must say. Syempre dahil libre. =p They had a quite similar pasta to that one I loved eating at Pizza Hut. Tapos, sarab nung crab something there (quite like croquettes ata). Must try ang kanilang halo-halo cheesecake and buco, mango, sago. I was really too full to try out the other pastries there. We tried one shot of their famous flaming drinks. God knows what kind of liquor we drank. Basta natunaw straw ko. =p The rest of our evening there was spent listening to music including that of UPDharma.
And oh...some Nadal approached us that night. Probably Kitchie's relative. Even told us some ancestral story of our great lolo being Agapito from Portugal. Haha! Goodness...wala talaga akong kilalang ibang relatives na Nadal. Naligaw na sanga ata kami. And I thought we were Spanish.
Changed my shirt after coz we had to go to a wake right after somewhere at Quezon Ave. Tita Nelvyn's mom died a few days after she returned to the U.S. Thus, she is once back again here in the Philippines. Went home really late na that night...including Kim.
Finally saw Sanctuarium. I want my wake to be there. Haha! *knock on wood* =p
And now, I have to catch up on homework and stuff. Haay...

my not-so-lonely valentine's day :)
Twenty-one years of being single and another Valentine's day passed. Oh dear! Time's really ticking. Celebrated Valentine's still...the single way.
After a killer Physio exam, which marked the end of a 3-day exam marathon (we still have Biochem lab for tomorrow but I'm not counting that one), I decided to stay for a while with some friends for lunch since I won't be joining them later on for a movie date (coz I got one of my own =p). Ate at Tokyo Tokyo, ordered a 2-piece fish tonkatsu, and got an extra one pa nga eh...all because they gave me a wrong meal the first time (with only a piece). Therefore, some of my friends got to taste it na rin. I felt like Jesus...yung time na naghati siya ng fish pero thousands napakain niya. Hehe! ;p
Went home right after lunch and after checking out the clothes at F&H. I always pass by there pag nasa SM ako eh...just in case there are new stuff.
Upon arriving home, I made some kinda chocolate cake. Eh sa wala akong natanggap na flowers eh...therefore, I'm giving myself and the rest of the family a chocolate cake. Got chocolates naman from Tina...so sweet of her. :) Eion...chocolate cake turned out to be like chocolate pudding. The recipe's actually weird so I can't really explain how it came to be so, but it was tasty anyway...with the whipped cream on top. :)
I watched a DVD afterwards but slept instead. Blame it on the 3-day exam marathon which rendered me sleepless for a few days. Woke up after a while to prep up and meet Ice and Kim at MC. Yep, yep! We're going on a foursome date. I've got to thank Kim for suggesting that. :D
So there, we waited for Kim in Ice's car, explored the tiangges at MC, ate fishball, talked, and watched a DVD. Left later on after Kim arrived to watch a movie at Galle. Fun ride coz we had to dodge MMDA people since Ice's car's on coding.
We made a little stroll around to look for the G-Mask (tama ba?) stall. Goodness! I wanted to splurge on my phone...but no thanks. Tapos, we watched Rome & Juliet...an independent film on lesbianism. Kim and Cathe are really so into watching the movie...they even bought shirts before pa. Shirts were sold kasi when we watched LiveAids. Sa sobrang daming shirts na nabili nila, they got to know and befriend the director, got discounts, and I bet, they got every shirt design there is. Adik! Anyway, the cinema was actually full when we got in. Scored seats on the 3rd row na. Kakalula ever. Kasi naman, several people came to watch. We even saw Stef (sana tama spelling). Movie had lots of tigil moments...as in blank yung screen and all, but overall, movie was great. Nakakatuwa and I liked the poetry. Basta...go watch it.
Afterwards, we decided to have dinner at Ababu again. Shawarma craving eh. I so love the rice there...even if the butter was fattening. Was able to go home at 11pm na...on a school night. Haha! =p
So that's how my Valentine's Day ended...me back at home, watched little TV, made whipped cream, read Fables, and slept while reading it. Was so tired.
Will go out again this weekend. Bar/resto opening naman ng tito ni Kim. Man...I really have to insert "study periods" into my schedule.
Anyway, I passed my "killer" Physio exams...by a measly * points. Oh my! Am I serious?! 0_o

ito na muna...
Ito na muna...dahil wala na naman akong magawa at bored sa pag-aaral for exams...Biochem ba naman. Baka bumagsak na naman ako. Weeh?! Naghahamon kayo? Fine! Ibabagsak ko! Joke! =p Ayoko nga noh! Rest time lang muna bago ako mapurga sa nucleotides, diarrhea, breastfeeding, at kung anek-anek pa.
May bago kaming alaga...kalapating matataba...kung kanino ang mga ito...aba malay ko! =pMga dayong pinakain (lalo na ni Cathe)...presto! Instant pets! Very loyal indeed. :)
Finally...something to keep our flops organized. :) Binili ni Mama right after our 3-week theater streak. Yup! Yup! Tapos na siya. Theater addicts talaga. Actually, full na itong lalagyan so we have to buy a new one...and another one...and another one. Shux! O_O
eto blockmates ko. na ngayon ay groupmates ko. na currently employed as verdesigns landscape architects.:p hehe... mejo on our way to stardom ang drama dahil sa aming ambisyosong plate at model.:p ang aming personal assistant--diane nadal.. hayun! nakisama sa picture.:p kape nga pls.:P

Lokong kapatid...umepal sa aking blog post. Here are my new sisters and finally, a brother. Haha! :) I insisted on a picture kasi bihira lang toh. This is the nth time na nandito sila sa bahay. Don't mind the broken ceiling. Our house is just in dire need of repair. Eh kasi naman...landscape architects ang mga itich...la kwentang karpintero ng housie. =p
At last na muna (dahil Multiply naman ang pakikialamanan ko), Fables 1 & 7...tanda na nanggaling si Conrad dito sa housie. Inspirasyon ko to finally finish studying for Biochem (next time na yung Ana at Physio). Nyahaha! Fables, fables...haay! Addict na...lech*!

I've changed. Some people have told me that already. Well, people do change. Sometimes though, I regret change. And yesterday was really something. Having realized that sometimes, just when I thought things were fine, they actually weren't. And I'm such a fool when it comes to looking at the whole picture.
Damn! I don't know if I'm just being overly sensitive or what. But it does hurt realizing that the picture I was looking at wasn't what I thought it really was.
