time goes by...so slowly --> i wish!
I'm feeling a wee bit psychotic lately. My head's full from thinking so much I can't even write a decent Pharma paper. I'll probably do it tomorrow...when hopefully, my thoughts are in order.
Exam countdown: 1 week left.
And I have tons of "pasyal" moments next weekend. Oh damn priorities.
I'm happy my dad won as governor...coz that would mean more travel stories. But then again...back to reality...I'm a med student with tons of stuff to do. Haay...life. :(

I watched KC's docu on TV tonight. I'm honestly jealous of the life she had. I also once dreamt of studying overseas, but I was very much afraid to go out of my comfort zone. Opportunities lost all because I was afraid of taking risks.
Oh, grant me courage. I'll be swooshing out of this country in no time.

recall.
Things from last week:- Slept during class. Goodness!
- Did another rat experiment. Bigger rats. Didn't have to kill them. Our rats were really sweet. Ang bait talaga. Sana inuwi ko. =p Tapos si Mama, magwawala na naman. I can just imagine. Haha. :)
- Realized na onti na lang ang nag-aalaga ng pusakal ngayon. I miss having cats at home. Wild dogs we have here.
- Celebrated a total of three birthdays in class. Happy birthday to Clar, Ivy, and Rey.
- Nearly died of excessive cigarette smoke inhalation last night. It was hobnobbing with the oldies, richos, and politicians again. And all I cared about was having the ultimate dinner. =p Shux. People will be seeing my dad's face all over Cainta again. Nyark.

nananaginip na naman habang gising...napapadalas.
Oh my...I'm going to miss my freedom.Gone are the days when I can stroll around the mall freely...ride the LRT on my own.
In a week's time, darating na yung bodyguard-slash-driver namin ni Cathe.
*Tagoink!*
Hahaha! :D
Ang chenes.
Papa was elected as the Governor-elect...for Kiwanis lang naman. Yep, yep. After two consecutive losses in the elections, nanalo din siya. Still with his usual detractors and atribidas but hey...his supporters came through this time.
Swerteng araw - Sept. 8. Thank Mother Mary.
This time also, Papa was simply nominated. Kaya pala ng walang gastos for campaign materials eh. Sushme! Ask Papa to tell you the interesting battle story about disqualifications and breaking rules as well as the interesting speech in the dark room. Papa tells stories better. Trust me.
Too bad we weren't there on his proclamation in Subic. Super biglaan. Even we were surprised when we heard the news.
This calls for a humongous celebration. :)
Ang taas ko raw sa Psych exam. Yahoo! --> for more celebration. ;p

Tell me...bakit naimbento ang "justified" format sa MS Word?
Sige nga.

pahabol...
Napanood ko na ang "A Lovestory". Yey! :)Aga and Angelica's question game is SO familiar. Right Danci?
Hehe.=p
Ubos na halos allowance ko on a Monday night...dahil sa movie, coffee, at dinner. Naki-join na naman ako sa HS kada ng kapatid ko on their occasional meet-ups. Went home at around 11pm. Yikes.

Sabi ni Tita, ang hilig ko mag "thank you". Onga. And I mean it ha.
It's just that I appreciate every little thing people do for me. Feeling good is something I don't take for granted. And a "thank you" is what I can only guarantee. The rest, I just can't explain. Basta.
I just haven't felt this appreciative for my friends before.
For example, here's Tita who's willing to listen to whatever I'm feeling bad about. Then there's Tina who's willing join me for a dinner or movie when I'm feeling down.
Now who wouldn't be this thankful? :)
fire! fire! fire! --> naalala ko sina KL
Bakit ba sa tuwing may "news" worthy na nangyayari sa subdivision namin, laging mali ang facts.Several years ago, a security guard went crazy and shoot two people killing one instantly. Sa newspaper, nakalagay na pangalan ng subdivision namin eh "Town and Country Homes". Ashus! May Town and Country Subdivision nga...pero that's far away from home.
Then, just this morning (around 3am), the squatters' area behind our home was on fire. GMA news reported the incident occuring at Morrisville Country Homes. Hello! Why oh why do they only get the "Country Homes" thing right? Reporters don't always get their facts straight.
It's quite similar to interviewing patients and doing a PD paper. There's no such thing as 100% reliability. Hahaha.:p

Ayun nga...nasunog ang squatters' area sa likod ng bahay namin kaninang madaling araw. Good thing it wasn't that near our home. It wasn't also windy and the grass at the back are newly cut. Grabe. Mama woke up because the dogs were barking and the firetrucks were noisy. Papa woke us all up. As usual, Cathe was the paranoid one. First thing she did was prepare her laptop for an evacuation. Haha. =p Ako...well...optimistic. Malayo naman eh. The first thing I realized after seeing the fire was my Pharma minicase which was to be discussed to day. Nakatulog ako while reading Katzung. So ayun...with the adrenaline comes hasty writing and reading. Good. =p
Mama and Papa went to the squatters' area when the fire was controlled to check the situation...and to make tsismis. We live in a very friendly neighborhood. Kahit sa squatters' area, marami kaming friends. :)
Haay...KL, if you're reading this, Cathe and I were thinking of the fire incident behind your house when the fire was going on outside our home. Cathe was actually thinking of the expensive shoes she'd be wearing for her own "evacuation-in-style".
I still haven't seen the area after the fire...or even before the fire. I didn't realize til now that several families were living there pala.

and another...and another...and another.
Had my weekend full for the Red Cross BLT. Can I rightfully declare that I'm an official Red Cross member of UERM? Goshness...I can't even recall what the org's official name is. Oops. =p
No more illegal tambay moments at the Red Cross office...and illegal punching in of padlock code. And well...welcome org stress life. Hehe. =p
I had fun with the whole experience. But there were moments when I felt down as well. And I can only say that I am so glad to have Tina and Tita. They're ultimately the best when it comes to listening to me rant and all. I love them so much already. And I do hope people forgive me for my moodiness and OC-ness. Shux. This can get me into trouble.

On a sadder note...
I missed the bookfair this year.
Aww... :(

And just as I was joining myself in an org, the media community is super hyped on the new frat killing in UP. It's a Sigma Rho neophyte this time...by the name of Cris Mendez (I still don't know why his name sounds awfully familiar).
I don't think "hazing" will soon go out of the frat (or maybe even soro) system...heck, this is reality here. But there must be a way to cleanse fraternities of the ongoing twisted system. There should be a way.
I was talking to my dad about his frat in college. Well...I can't imagine my dad being a frat member moreso as a president (yes, yes...should I believe?). And well, during his time, they already had the paddle daw...but it was a meager 5 hits. They focused more on the psychological aspect for the initiation rites (and I won't elaborate on this na...basta I also don't approve of "psychological hazing".). The point of the matter is, hazing goes back to ancient history (Papa's ancient =p)...and well...it is evolving to something harsher and destructive. What's happening to this world? Tsk!

I have a lot of catching up to do on my acads. Oh my...
