Pupunta ba ako sa Red Cross Training? Waah. Parang hectic talaga.
***
The secret to Bea's slim figure is South Beach Diet (Phase I) and exercise.
Haha. It wasn't smart lipo after all. =p
Oh well...effective nga naman talaga ang South Beach. I can attest to that. ;) Pero goodluck sa rebound fatness if you discontinue it.

Ayun...I had a very long sleep kanina. Very nice. I slept at around 6pm yesterday...woke up at around 1am...went with my fam to the airport...then slept at around 4am...woke up at around 12:30 noon. So nice talaga.
It could have been better if I'm with my sis and mom at Camiguin. :( I called my sis kanina...and well...I think they're going to the soda spring. Waah!
I miss the place. Yun lang. Haay...I'm left with nothing to do for the 2nd long weekend of this month.
At least I have a box of Krispy Kreme's Hersheys doughnuts all for myself.
Good luck sa figure.=p
Hindi ako makatransfer ng files from my phone to the PC. Lahat ng means eh sira...from the bluetooth down to the trusty USB port.
Ano ulit yun Julz? Nasa huli talaga ang pagsisisi.
Good luck na lang sa grades ko this time around. Sige na...gamitin ang optimism. Baka magwork.
Now for kwento sake, for two instances this month, nakasaksi ako ng pagkabundol ng tao sa kahabaan ng Aurora Blvd. Haay...jinxed. First time, sa tapat ng Medics...female HS student ata yun. Second time yesterday...motorcycle sa pagitan ng dalawang jeep. Hanggang dun na muna kwento ko...hindi na ako bumaba ng jeep to make osyoso.
Tapos, inaayos na itong baha to accomodate the flood. Ay...that sounded wrong. Haha. Tsk. Kawawa shoesies ko.
Anyway, to end the very kakabwiset exams (haha...musta namang segway ito), nagpunta kaming Bellini's kanina (as planned). Was with Ivy, Roselle, Tin, Joey, Clar, and Arianne (first timers yung last 4).
Akala ko magtatanong about directions or something pero susme...may ready-to-shoot cam. Tapos, bumukas din yung door sa gitna (yung for back passengers) at lumabas ang isang lalaking naghahanap ng maiinterview about glutathione. Hahaha.
Pagdating namin sa Bellini's, lo and behold...may ABSCBN van sa labas and apparently, may shooting. Aba naman. Akala namin closed for the shoot...buti na lang hindi kasi naku po! Masasayang ang pagpunta namin don. Lumabas yung isang parang director, si Randy (ang aming waiter extraordinaire), and Mr. Bellini himself. Haay...maybe they were thinking that the shoot's scaring customers away. Guess what kung ano yung movie? Yung kina John Lloyd at Bea - "Ready to Take a Chance Again". Hehe. Eh di hindi kami mapakali. Nagtingin tingin. Saw John Lloyd, Dimples, Bea (of PBB2), Janus del Prado (na crush ni sister...inggit na siya), and Aaron (gosh...I forgot his last name). Sabi nila, nandon si DJ Durano (ang isa pang pambansang bestfriend) pero I don't think I saw him. At sayang...hindi namin nakita ang controversial arms ni Bea Alonzo na wala sa shoot that time. Basta yun. Nakakatuwa...at special treatment kami kasi kami lang customers that time. Break pa nung shoot nung nandon kami so wahaha...artista sighting galore. Hahaha. Good luck talaga. Forget kahihiyan.
The best PARTS of our experience today...na siguradong pagsisisihan ng iba diyan na hindi sumama...
- Getting 2 free shots of homemade red wine made by and compliments of Mr. Bellini himself. Wala raw kasing sweet wine (much to my disappointment)...pero duda namin, yung homemade red wine eh yun din yun pero baka last bottle na yun or medyo stale na or hindi pa ok ibenta. Super sarap. =p
- Interacting with Mr. Bellini. First one: lumapit siya to lecture about the heat and how electric fan affects your health. Kahit mainit, at least hindi raw bastusin suot niya...pero medyo see through. Hehe. =p Nakipagchikahan pa siya...I heard he likes having students around. Second one: Nung hinaplos niya buhok ni Joey. Kaya naman, no more ligo for Joey for the essence. Hehehe. Haha. No more hilamos for you din. =p And to cap it all off, nagpapicture kami with Mr. Bellini after. O diba? We so love him na. :)
- Interacting with the movie production people...na walang ginawa kundi lokohin kami. Nasaan na ang free movie passes namin? =p
I missed her. So...ano ang mas malalang uniform...yung amin o yung senyo? =p
- At syempre, ang walang kamatayang pictures at chikahan. Girls early night out nga eh. ;p
Julz...nakakainsulto man on John Lloyd's part, pareho raw kayo ng buhok ni John Lloyd sabi ni Joey. I beg to disagree. Hehehe. Peace. =p Gwapo niya...yun lang.
This is a real starstruck moment for us all. May next shooting date pa ata. Wahaha...aabangan. =p
Harhar! ;)
Ito'y isang pangitain sa pag-aartista namin. Joke. =p
:D :D :D
Magpopost ako ng pictures...at SUPER sneak preview on the movie. Ayos na rin ang bluetooth sa wakas.
At hindi pa diyan nagtatapos ang lahat.
Our celebrity magnet/radar/glue/gawgaw/kanin worked for the third time...nang makita namin si Inday Garutay sa Gateway. Kebs niyo, kebs ko. Hehehe. :D
And oh...kakahiyang moment kanina sa LRT...nakalimutan kong magpasok ng card. Derecho lang sa turnstile eh...hahaha. Yun ang nagfi-feeling. Hahaha.:D
I so love this day. Oh yes. Minus the exams part...and the part I'm going to do next which is to prepare for the ICS tomorrow.
Bwiset.
O siya, siya.
This is your sober chikadora signing off. ;)
And I'm making kalikot of her lappy-toppy. Hehehe.=p
It flooded outside yesterday.
I was awake til 4am studying because of adrenaline...and because of a bacon and cheese burger, fries, and onion rings from BK. Harhar.=p
Wala lang.
The keypads are so small...ayoko nang magtype. Hindi keri ng touch typing ko.
Dinner table conversation kanina: My father said he is a "highly paid idiot". He's paid highly for less hours of work. Privilege daw niya ang magtrabaho ng less than 8 hours a day. Hehe.;p
Time to study.:) *Lagi na lang...pero nag-aaral nga ba? It's Narnia this time.*
I'm turning into unproductive robo-student.
Yun na.
Can I just? Now...for more katamaran...=p
Ano? Ewan. =p
6:45 am...Rex just passed by the Santolan station. I thought that was too early for an LRT ride. It was raining hard. I didn't want to get drenched in rain water.
7:30 am...I woke up, realized we passed by Anonas on the way to UP. Then the surroundings rang a bell on my head. I turned my head towards the backseat and saw my sis sleeping. Oops! We haven't reached UP yet. Darn. I was supposed to be riding the LRT at this time.
8:00 am...Traffic was crazy. Probably because of the rain.
5 minutes later...I was in the train on my way to school.
8:15 am...I was wading in some kinda floodwater from the jeepney to the school building. At least the jeepney driver thought of backing up his jeepney on the sidewalk so we wouldn't get totally soaked. But still, I was soaked. What's an umbrella for?
Of all days to get late talaga.
And the point of going to school was to attend Pharma lab and kill a couple of mice (per group). This is just one of those times when you just can't help hate science. Can we just make the whole thing "imaginary"?
Meet mouse #1. Aww...
And mouse #2. Reluctant for his charcoal meal.
I'm just glad I didn't have to do the dirty job of killing the mice. They were such an energetic bunch pa naman. At least we strangled them rather than chopped their heads off with a butcher's knife (as also suggested).
And meet animal handler turned killer turned psychotic (...you better get tetanus shots). ;p
And well...classes got suspended in the middle of Pharma lab. Very good timing. o_0 At least I didn't encounter any flood or heavy rain on the way home.
Now...I'm off to study for my 2nd exams. Wish me luck.
SUPER LUCK.
See? This is what I do in class. =p
Now where had I kept my blog hanging?
That was like after my 1st long exams. The 2nd one's looming in 2 weeks time. Ladidah. My grades for the 1st exams were the best I had for the entirety of my existence in med school (except for the PD exam which I'm trying to forget na...there it goes down the drain).
I also learned that I was top 14 last year and am eligible for the Honor's Society. Pressure there. =p
On a sad note naman, one of the greatest mentor, Sir David, died last July 13 (Friday the 13th talaga) because of stroke. I wasn't able to attend the tribute for him at UP, but I got to watch the videos. Sabi na nga ba...mapapaiyak ako. He's one of the most memorable profs I had...and super well-loved talaga. Siyempre, in tribute...Top 10 things I won't forget about him:
1. His one page exam...na size 8 yung font (para tipid daw sa paper) at maraming identification, essay, at fill in the missing blanks (tipong: The ______ is the ______ of the ______. Hula na lang. ;p).
2. Yung super hina niyang boses...na dahilan kung bakit nag-uunahan kami for class to get the front seats. At dahil bingi ako, I learned to do lip reading. Hehe. ;p Hindi nga keri ng tape recorder ni Joyie yung voice ni Sir...I told her to use the video cam para pati yung facial expressions and gestures ni Sir makunan. Panalo moments yon. Giniginaw eh. =p
4. That he was my reference person when I applied for med schools. Inabangan ko pa talaga siya non. Buti pumayag. :)
5. Yung itsura niya.
Haha. Minsan, napaaga yung uwi namin...dahil nagka-brownout. Nasa stairs na kami nang biglang nagkailaw. Buti na lang, pinayagan na kami umuwi. =p
9. Yung pop recitation sa class. Super nagbabasa tuloy ako before.
10. Siyempre, yung mga quotes at anecdotes niya in class. The best. But the rest, I remembered writing in my notebook. Ang dami nga nilang na-compile for the tribute eh. Sana gawan ng book diba? Here are some I've personally written in my blog long ago when I was still taking Psych 160.
For those planning to take med: "By the time you finish studying, you are ready to retire."
For those who took or who are taking several degrees/courses: "You'll have more degrees than the centigrade."
"Maraming accidents sa buhay...you just have to respond to it...but avoid real accidents."
"When you commit suicide (by poisoning yourself), I don't want to see you being rushed to the hospital with lots of sugar in your mouth."
The biological basis of love is blind (formatted): "When we feel strong emotion like love, the pupils dilate...dilated pupils in olden times make people attractive...anyway, it's something to watch out for in other people (hint: bf)...when the pupils dilate, vision is affected and you don't see well...thus, "love is blind"...
The biggest regret I have is that I took Psych 160 (Neuropsych) on the summer of 2005. Only two months worth of classes from Sir David. He's really a great loss, but I'm very sure he is happy with the way he has lived his life. :)
Just a week after Sir David's death, I got a text message stating that Ma'am Rosell (a Psych prof also) is in critical condition and is needing blood. Institusyon naman siya ng Abnormal Psych. Haven't been her student actually pero bakit ganon.
Anyway, moving on, next big thing: my celebrity-style birthday celebration. Hehe. :) Super tumagal siya. And to think of it, may balak pa kami ng aking mga lunch buddies to do a sem ender party...for all those who celebrated their birthdays this 1st sem. Recap:
My lunch buddies surprised me with my fave cupcake. Another revelation: mas masarap din siya pag tunaw yung frosting. Haha. I'm weird. :p I was selfish and matakaw that day. Ate this all for myself. Heehee. :D
My ICS groupmates, on the other hand, gave me this apple. It's a joke and definitely a long story. I was sort of expecting this (haha) pero benta pagkakabigay ni Poch. ;p
Then at home, we had the usual bongga dinner. And I got one of my favorite cakes. All's well when it's your birthday talaga. =p
First try: nasaraduhan ako ng Greenhills. Cathe bought a laptop kasi and it took a while for it to be set-up. We went to SM Mega pero ang mahal talaga don. I wasn't pleased. That was a malas day actually kasi after eating at Metrowalk, the car just won't start so we had to take the cab home pa (I had to watch Rounin =p). I was already in my worst atribida mood. My bad.
2nd try: we almost didn't make it. I was stuck in traffic on the way home. Pero I got to by my DS na rin. Yey! :) Didn't get to haggle for a lower price though. We were in a rush then.
And guess what...I met a new love: Krispy Kreme's chocolate and almonds from the Hershey's collection. I have to go back. Bring me back. 0_0 Sa Greenhills branch ha...nakakatuwa yung sa drive thru don. Kakaiba. See for yourself. =p
3 days later...balik Greenhills because my unit got some kind of light defect. Haha. Went to Tiendesitas after and bought a new bag (which I have to fix pala kasi may sira sa stitching).
