Naisip ko bigla yung manggagaya ng friendster profile namin na "friend" namin ni sis. Sana talaga mabura na yung account niya sa friendster. Grr... 0_o

Ms. Photogenic lang nakuha ni Licaros sa Ms. Universe pageant. Oh well...mukha namang deserving si Ms. Japan. The "slip" award for this year goes to Ms. USA. Haay...uso na ata talaga ngayon ang pagdulas sa Ms. Universe pageant. Go, go, go, dulas! =p Pero astig talaga pageant this year...totally different...bald and in dreadlocks contestants, lots of protests (Miss-erable...haha) and boos (kawawang Ms. USA), and Sweden pulling out. Cool eh? ;)

Another "boo" award goes to the Bataan trip we had last Sunday. I have never felt so unwelcome my whole life. Aba! Pumunta kami don to see the Santacruzan (which isn't that nice actually), but since wala yung hermano mayor (na pinuntahan namin don) kasi busy nga sa parada, we had to wait for what seemed like eons sa bahay nila. Ok naman sana eh...pero yung anak-anakan niya didn't bother giving us food...kahit tubig lang eh, magre-rejoice talaga ako. So what we did (lalo na si Papa na gutom at dismayado na talaga), is to go out of the house to find our own food. Sariling kusa?! Bwisit talaga. Pag-uwi nung hermano, tsaka lang kami pinakain (at napagalitan yung inutasan naman sanang anak-anakan). Hindi pa ako nabusog kasi halos puro pork (hindi pa naman ako mahilig don)...iba pa lasa. Ang weird daw talaga ng lasa ng food don eh. At least mahangin don. Yun lang. I really doubt if I'll go back to that house.

Hindi na talaga kami matuloy tuloy sa Puerto Galera trip na yan. Hanapan niyo nga kami ng murang place don. Ang mamahal ng nasa internet eh. Gusto ko nang patulan.

Last "rant" goes to the papalapit na pasukan. Waah! Ayoko pa. No!!! :O

I dragged this lazy ass of mine out of bed early today to go and enroll myself back in med school.

I woke. I slept again. I woke up late. Ayun...super madali sa pag-enroll so as not to get caught up in between the lunch break.

I'm über happy to get a scholarship again. Nintendo DS na ito. Haha. :p Joke lang Ma at Pa. ;)

And oh...saw Hanni and Cla. It felt wonderful to see them again. I'm going to miss them. :(

Went to have a Mcdo and movie trip at Greenhills. Mcdo for lunch to get those Shrek happy meals again for sis, Ma, and JC. For lunch, we bought Fiona, Donkey, and Puss.

Super trivia: We collected happy meal toys before...as in! Pero we eventually mellowed down a bit on the buying when we realized they're getting quite expensive na. Ngayon, super selected toy collections na lang. Some kids play with the toys we have pero hindi talaga namin binibigay. One time may kinuha...as in hinanap pa namin sa bata. =p

Eion...I tried the green apple float naman which I loved. I wanted to try the green honey mustard sauce sana pero mali nabigay eh and I was too tamad to go back to the counter to have my sauce exchanged.

After lunch, met up with Danci and Joyie. I super miss those people too. Makulit tandem ever. We watched "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End". Loved it. That's all I'm going to say about it becaues I'm super biased about it and I don't want to spill more stuff here. Haha. :) Basta go watch it...and don't forget to wait for the credits to end. ;p

Had snack at Mcdo after for more Shrek happy meal toys. Bought Shrek's baby naman. Adik si Cathe. More green apple float as well. ;p

Magkaka-Krispy Kreme na rin sa Greenhills...a drive thru at that. Haha. :)

So there...basta go watch watch. :)

This is definitely a must see. ;p I hope the movie does justice to the book. Pero, meron na bang movie na kasing ganda ng book? Umasa pa...

I've had a quite FULL day yesterday.

Went swimming with Kim and sis. Yes. Tatlo lang kami. Ang saya pa rin. :)

Side kwento #1: Cathe and I finally bought new swimsuits. Kainis pa kasi sale pala sa mall that time so nakatago yung ibang swimsuits (sa mga boutiques) kasi nga, pag sale, it's usually the old stocks that are out. Oh well...we still managed to find a few good ones.

Forward to yesterday, Sunday.

Usapan, Kim's going to use their fam's car, drive here at home and we'll leave at around 8am for CME (fave place to be). Cathe and I played scrabble the night before with Mama and kinda slept late so late na rin kami nagising.

Side kwento #2: Medyo nababaliw kami sa paglalaro ng scrabble and monopoly ngayon eh. Cathe's the monopoly mogul (lagi akong bankrupt...lech*!) while Mama's the scrabble queen (laging nakakaubos ng letters...ngekers!) leaving me to be 2nd best always. Err... o_0

Aga dumating ni Kim sa bahay...around 7am. I was still in the CR doing my stuff and Cathe was just about to start preparing breakfast. We left at around 8am naman, bringing with us some snacks and food.

Daming tao that day. Big groups aplenty. Dapat may award kami noh? Smallest group. ;p Waited in line for long.

CME Trivia #1: Kasama na don ang isang grupong nauna sa amin sa highway at nakasakay sila ng isang green FX. Aba! Pinagtripan kami. Pinipikchuran kami sa car while we were on the way to CME. Buti na lang, Kim overtook them. Haha! Beeh! :p

CME Trivia #2: Kasama rin sa linya ang isang taong hindi namin mawari kung babae o lalaki. Waah! o_o Truly boggles the mind.

The purpose of our swimming (aside from last minute vacation spills) is to try out the new wave pool. Problem is, de oras yung pag-andar ng waves sa wave pool. 10am pa raw so what we did was try out the other pools we haven't tried yet. Hindi na kami kumuha ng cabana kasi hindi rin naman namin magagamit so libot libot na lang kami. Una, sa lap pool for the early morning exercise. Then, sa bean pool na mababaw all throughout...meaning, boring. Tapos, sa shaded pool para umiwas sa araw.

CME Trivia #3: Doon namin na-meet si "excuse me po" na walang ibang ginawa kundi dumaan sa gitna naming tatlo at mag-excuse me. FYI: batang babae ito so hindi namin ma-gets ang kanyang papansin moves.

After awhile, punta na sa wave pool kung saan naipon ang maraming tao. Wala lang...patalbog talbog lang with the waves. Maliit lang yung area so hindi rin namin ma-enjoy with all the people there. We decided to go back to the lap pool to make talbog talbog, manual style. =p

We spent the rest of the day sa may lap pool. Tulog/rest ng onti before lunch time. Masarap tumambay don kasi onti lang talaga tao. Kasi naman, medyo malalim. Scary for kids. Karamihan sa mga nandon eh adults especially guys na mahilig magpa-impress ng kanilang swimming skills (tanga naman). I will explain later.

Come lunch, bumili kami ng chicken joy (na dumami) before heading back to the car to eat. No bringing of food/drinks kasi don eh so sa labas talaga kami kumain. Pero si kuyang pa-cute sa may Jollibee, mali yung binigay. 1 piece chicken yung isang styro so binalikan nila Kim and Cathe yung missing chicken. Pagbalik nila, ang supposedly 2 piece chicken eh naging 3 piece. That's not counting the other styro with 2 piece chicken. So all in all, we had 5 pieces of chicken for lunch plus more rice and beef tapa.

We ate sauna style kasi hindi kaya ng aircon yung init. Super! Pawis galore. Blow blow na nga lang ako sa yelo na bitbit namin to cool off a bit. Grabe talaga. What an experience. =p

Dali dali kaming lumabas ni sis to go to the lap pool again to swim. Humabol na lang si Kim.

Ito na yung mga "tanga" stories.

Kwento #1: Guy made dive sa malalim side ng lap pool. One lap of freestyle. Pagdating sa other side, na-realize niyang nawala ang kanyang necklace. Syempre, he asked help from kuya lifeguard (ang lifeguard na hindi nagpapabasa). Kuya lifeguard gave the guy a pair of goggles para makita niya under the pool yung necklace. After 5-10 minutes of searching, nahanap din niya...sa may malalim side pa. Kumusta na kaya ang tenga ng guy na yon? Ito pa...sabi ni kuya lifeguard, ingatan na raw yung mga accessories at itago if ever (kasi naman, yung buong grupo ng guy eh tadtad ng mga necklaces at bracelets...hello! this is a resort noh...this is not a fashion show.). Ask me what the guy did. Dali. He pocketed his newly found necklace sabay dive ulit. Sana nauntog siya pagdive niya...baka matauhan.

Kwento #2: Lolo with glasses went swimming. Sa mababaw side lang naman. He called the kuya lifeguard. Nahulog daw glasses niya. Kuya lifeguard went looking from above and pointed to the lost glasses under. Ayun...lolo got his glasses and eyesight back.

Big question for the day: Uso na ba ang swimming with glasses or shades on? Dami kasing naka-shades while swimming. So weird they are.

Kwento #3: A fam went swimming sa deeper side ng lap pool. Eh yung lap pool kasi, may design sa gilid na parang mababaw muna tapos lalim bigla...basta. Ang nangyari, nahulog yung bata...baka nadulas. Grabe! Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng batang nagba-bob sa water...apparently, nalulunod na. Dali daling kinuha ng mga parents. So there. I didn't have to do CPR na kasi na-save yung bata. Where was kuya lifeguard? Nasa kabilang side at napatingin lang. Bagal ng reflexes noh? I wonder if kuya lifeguard can swim. Sa tingin niyo...can he?

So there...after a few more swims, pictures, and kwento, umalis na kami at around 3pm. Sa bahay na kami nagshower.

Pag-uwi, kumain kami ng saglit. Ginutom after the sauna lunch. Then, nagshower na kami. May family lakad kami after. Have to go to the airport kasi nandon si Darrel. He was to go to the US at 10:30pm. Since wala naman siyang ginagawa don, we decided to make him pasyal sa SM MOA. Eion, rush rush. Parang yung nangyari kay Macmac.

Namasyal kaming tatlo ni sis with Darrel while Ma and Pa waited lang sa may strip. Bought drinks at Starbucks. Tapos dinner at a shabu shabu after. Hindi kami na-satisfy eh...pero we were too full to even think about it. Kasi we had snacks/drinks before dinner so we were kinda full anyway.

Hinatid namin si Darrel pabalik ng airport at around 9pm. Good thing he already checked in his bag so pwedeng magtagal.

So there...that's the Sunday I had. We were too tired after to even play scrabble.

And oh...I've finally got my tan lines now. Pahirapan. =p

May isi-share lang ako.

Kahapon, sumama akong sunduin si Cathe sa kanyang workplace. At bakit ko nga ba iniwan ang PC? Ito ay dahil manlilibre si Cathe ng pizza...from Yellow Cab. Ang sosy...nakatanggap na kasi ng allowance from her boss.

Ang loka, ang tagal umalis sa office kasi may ka-tangahang ginawa yung printer nila (o sis...yung printer na nga ang may kasalanan). Ang aga pa man din naming dumating ni Uncle. Inuna namin siya versus the Banco de Oro eh. Super speed after to the bank kasi 6:30pm yun magsasara. Ang hindi namin alam ni Uncle, may super Banco de Oro before entering the village (kung san nga yung workplace ni sistah). Susme! Sana pala, dumaan muna kami.

Ayun...photo finish to the bank. Naiwan kami ni sis sa car kasi ayaw na namin magpalamig sa banko (uy...gawain ni Kuya Dondon at Aunty Lyn). Usap usap kami ni sis hanggang matuyuan ng laway. Tawag tawag sa phone to Mama (to prepare pasta...I'll be doing the sauce pag-uwi) and to Papa (to buy chicken). We decided to have an Italian dinner that night...ay ang redundant. Wala naman dinner sa umaga so definitely night. Naghintay rin kami sa kotse sakaling may lumabas na car sa parking...nakaharang kasi kami. Wala lang...tatawagin lang naman namin si Uncle sa loob ng bank. Wala akong license na bitbit eh. I'm very OC on that.

Haba ng pila pero keri lang. To Yellow Cab after (yung sa may Marquinton) para bumili ng super big pizza...and because I was there, I got to choose the flavor. All time fave...meatlovers. :) 15 mins. kami naghintay ni Cathe. Tagal noh? What we did while waiting was take pics...like always. Hay naku! Tamad akong magpost ng pics dito so baka sa Multiply na lang ulit. Tapos, sinubukan ko yung Diner Dash sa phone niya (naku! I have to see Kim/Ice na para meron din ako sa phone ko non) na super hirap pindutin. Eion...15 mins. sakto, we left, me carrying the super big pizza up to the car.

Super dash pa rin to go home kasi Papa had a meeting at 8:30. 7:30 eh nasa Marikina area pa rin kami noh...Papa called so extra stress pa. We made it in time naman. Plan was, tatakbo pagdating namin to open the gate tapos prepare the pasta sauce agad. Cathe naman was to carry her stuff inside. Uncle was to bring in the pizza...kasi if one of our neighbor sees it, siguradong manghihingi yon. Not that we were selfish. Pero may issues lang talaga. Long story.

So there...takbo ako from the car to open the gate. Tapos, takbo papasok ng bahay to prepare the sauce. Tapos, ta-dah! I lost the stud in my very precious havies. I got crazy. I asked Cathe to finish the sauce I was making (which I eventually had to redo kasi super thick). Takbo agad sa labas to find the missing stud. Loose kasi yun talaga. Palpak yung pagkakagawa...puro daldal kasi ginawa nung babae sa booth dati. Cathe and Uncle eventually helped. Pati yung mga bata sa kapitbahay. See the friendly neighborhood? =p Sabi nina Ma at Pa, it was futile to search for something so small at night kasi ang dilim nga (maliwanag nga ba sa gabi?). Sabi ko, sige, tomorrow morning na lang para kita. Basta I'm sure I had the stud when I rode the car from Marikina...kasi nga it was loose and I kept making kapa to check if it was still there.

Sabi ko, karma ata ito kasi si Uncle may inuwing Honda logo that has fallen off from a car eh. Ayun...my flops' stud has fallen naman. Karma hindi ba?

Mama insisted we eat dinner na so sige...eat. Nabundat ako. Pano ba naman, heavy eh. Pasta, chicken, rice, tapos pizza. Pero na-keri ko pang mag late night snack ng pizza ha. Tagal naubos eh. Mama and Papa rin naman. =p Hindi pa rin namin naubos kasi ang laki talaga. :O

The next morning, himalang nagising ako ng maaga dahil sa stud na yan. After breakfast, naghanap na ako. After a while, I honestly gave up na. Sabi ko, I'll either request for a new stud from Havaianas or have one made from a jeweller. Tapos, yung mga bata from last night helped din...at sila nakahanap. Haha. Ang funny. Crystal (the kid) found the crystal. Ang saya diba? =p Binigyan ko siya ng free ice cream after. That's how happy I was.

Naku! I felt relieved. Masusuot ko pa ang fave havs ko after all...ng walang butas. :) I used a super glue na talaga to make sure it won't fall off again.

So that marks the end of our Italian dinner. Haha. Labo.

Why am I writing funny? Go figure. ;)

How crazy can fashion trends get? The next thing I know, high waist jeans are in (there you go Papa...you're in season) and skinny or low waist jeans are out. But hey...you can't just go out wearing your parents' or grandparents' trousers/jeans...there's a new way to wear this "current" fad. And not everyone can try this as well. It is said to look great on people who have athletic bodies and long torsos and those who are skinny. Gawd...this is really tricky. Haha. Now this is something I might not even try following. Trend's said to die out after 6 months naman eh. Skinny jeans will back. That I hate as well...the super skinny ones lang naman.

Anyway, as if this isn't enough, I heard one piece swimsuits are in. O-kay. Fine. I'm still buying my long overdue bikini before summer's out. For more weirdness...there's a high waisted bikini on sale people. Like...WHAT?!

I wanted to post pictures sana pero wag na nga. I might get sued. =p

I am in need of a wardrobe makeover.

I'm scared for next season's trends...let's see...long-sleeved swimsuits (tapos boy cut pa yung style). Err? Can't wait.

This is proof that I've voted last May 14, Monday, 9am, at precinct 0203C, with my fam and Uncle Jaime. This is my 2nd time for a national election as big as this. I was with my first time voter sis (ay...nagvote na raw pala siya sa Sangguniang Kabataan before so hindi first time ang voting) na nangangapa pa kung left or right thumb daw ang gagamitin for the thumb mark. Haha. Uncle Jaime naman wasn't sure if he was still registered so search search muna siya for a while...pero his name appeared naman.

Same old. Same old. Precinct was at our clubhouse...so very okay kasi malapit lang. Easy to find din ang aming names kasi we know the people handling the booth for name search and stuff.

Ganon pa rin ang set-up. Walang privacy kasi ang daming taong umaaligid. The folders aren't a big help din kasi hindi gaya ng sa TV na may individual chairs ang mga tao, hindi ganon dito. We just have one big table na may folders na kanya kanyang dampot lang. Nag-iingay nga kami ni Cathe while voting eh. Pano ba naman, yung ginawang list ni Cathe for the local elections eh mali mali yung name...yung Danny eh naging Johnny. Tagal ko ring hinanap sa list yung Johnny na yan. =p

Bwisit pa yung isang tao pagtayo naman. Based sa aking interpretation, parang sinabing ang tagal namin. Aba! Aba! Eh di sana pumunta siya sa voting booth ng maaga para wala pang tao. Lech*!

Eion...nadumihan na naman ang kamay dahil sa indelible ink...which I so not like. I have a thing for nails being clean at nao-OC na naman ako.

I hope my vote has changed something at least. Yung mga hindi bumoto dahil sabi nilang wala rin namang magbabago...wala talagang magbabago niyan. Much hope is needed in this country and it is sad that some has decided to quit hoping.

Finally had a taste of Sanfo apples.

Story goes like this...

I have this old Archie comics wherein "past" Archie was selling some kinda caramel apples. Tapos, sa US shows din, there were caramel apples. I got curious pero siyempre, didn't try to make one myself.

Tapos, I happened to chance upon Joey's friendster and saw this familiar looking apples na mas beautiful pa nga kasi may designs. I asked Joey about it and since then, I've been craving Sanfo apples. When Cathe went out last Friday at Glorietta, I asked her to buy some. I find the price too steep pero keri lang kasi natapos na rin ang aking craving at curiousity. Ganon ako eh. Besides, ang sarap niya. Even Cathe who doesn't like apples that much liked the Sanfo apples. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I read that Sanfo apples were designed by its owner who is a designer. Cool right? :)

Try it out yourself. I'm poor with the location of stores in Glorietta so do what I usually do na lang. Go kayo sa pinakagitna...yung may fountain (or kung wala na, yung dating may fountain) tapos look around for the concierge/info desk. Ask for directions. Haha. Lagi talaga akong nawawala sa Glorietta. =p

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there. Uhm...make that belated. The clock here says it's May 14 already...election time. Oh right. Crap.

Didn't like how this day turned out. Period.

I'm back from an 11 day vacation. Been in front of the PC posting pics here and there. I'm tired. My back's aching...and it's all my fault I know.

I am tempted to switch to Xanga...sis kasi.

I'm still lazy to make full kwento of what happened during my Visayas trip. Feel free to check out my Multiply account because I kinda posted most of what happened there already...check my photo albums.

Fine...few details na muna. I'll tell the rest later on.

• I never really missed the PC while I was on vacation...because we brought the laptop along. Haha. No really...I didn't miss the PC. Vacations, for me, is a way to cleanse myself of the hassles of technology. That's good.
• I morphed into a "ligo" addict. Lagi akong naliligo...kahit walang tubig at kahit madaling araw pa yan, sige! =p
• I slept early and woke up early. Haha. Now that's something new. *My parents loved it. Too bad it only lasted a day when I came back home.*
• I didn't get tan lines...kahit mamula, hindi. I looked dark for a day but that's it. Haay...no evidence of summer. And I wasn't avidly taking in glutathione pa.
• Sabi ko, I miss Cebu's barbeque...pero naman...try mong mag-barbeque halos everyday. Kung hindi ka magsawa, ewan ko na lang.
• Sis and I missed an opportunity to get a free round trip plane trip from PAL. They overbooked on the flight we took going to Cebu. Sayang kasi for one lang eh. Kung for two yon, aba...game. ;p
• When a person's beyond 40 years of age, don't bother asking for his/her age. You'll know the answer...it's 35. Basta.
• I totally felt like a tourist this time. Seen new places and seen old places that changed a lot already. That's partly because of the campaign materials. Bwisit.
• Huwag magbiro sa lasing. Baka mabangga kayo pagdating sa parking lot. Long story.
• To avoid TOO MANY trips to the CR, don't eat too much RIPE siniguelas. Grabe! Took me a couple of days to realize that. Tsk.
• I rediscovered Carcar's ampao. Costs 50 pesos for 3 big packs (having 6 smaller packs each).
• I will go back to Cebu and do island hopping. Bantayan, Malapascua, Sumilon, Sta. Rosa...I shall return...este...I shall go there. :)
• I realized Lola will forever be scared of ghosts and dead people she once knew. She is too old and forgetful already.
• It is good to have a pair of chopsticks ready...especially if you missed breakfast. ;p
• In relation to above's statement, make sure you don't make a mess when eating. To remove oil from your clothes, try Joy (a dishwashing liquid).
• Politicians will always be a cause for delay...and I am entitled to my own opinion.
